Fury Road Minute 9 - You will rise from the ashes

Immortan Joe’s voice booms over loudspeakers as he salutes his Imperator, Furiosa, tasked with taking the War Rig to Gas Town and the Bullet Farm to deliver food and water in return for supplies. The wretched press toward the base of the Citadel as Immortan Joe places his hands on a pair of levers and opens the valves that release fresh water.

Fury Road Minute 8 - Rev it up for the Immortan Joe!

As the final pieces of his armor are secured in place, Immortan Joe dons his fearsome breathing mask and rises to his feet. Outside, the thronging masses crowd around The Citadel in anticipation for his arrival. With a shout from his Prime Imperator, Immortan Joe steps to the edge of his balcony and looks out over the wretched gathered below.

Fury Road Minute 7 - Fucacima kamakrazee

A closeup on a branded neck gives way to a massive elevator, slowly lowering a fearsome looking tanker covered in War Boys. As it reaches the ground, it’s rolled into place behind a hulking Rig, ready to pull it. Its driver, a woman with a robotic-looking arm, settles in behind the wheel. Elsewhere, the Warlord of the Citadel is attended by his Imperators.

Fury Road Minute 6 - Stop running, Max

As the War Boys clamor over each other to chase Him out of the flooded hallway, Max finds himself shoving through one set of double doors after another as he runs down a long corridor. Finally reaching the end, Max finds himself high above the ground with no way down except for a passing crane’s hook.

Fury Road Minute 5 - Hunted and haunted

Max throws off the War Boys that held him down and takes off running through the narrow, stone carved tunnels of The Citadel. He finds his Interceptor, being pulled apart by mechanics, but he has to press on to avoid capture. Eventually Max finds himself in a flooded tunnel, cornered he tries climbing up, but finds the way barred.

Fury Road Minute 4 - A man reduced

Max crawls away from his overturned interceptor, but he doesn’t get far as he’s quickly taken by the raiding party and dragged back to the imposing fortress known as The Citadel. Inside he is marked, shorn, and almost branded, but Max’s patience only lasts for so long and he lashes out at his captors, sending the white-washed grunts flying.

Fury Road Minute 3 - The one who runs

A band of War Boys roar onto the screen, hot on Max’s heels. Despite his speed, Max is quickly surrounded and a well placed explosive flips the interceptor, sending it rolling through the dirt. As it slides to a stop, Max emerges, dazed from the assault, his mind racing with thoughts of a child run down by a wasteland war party.

Max Rockatansky, MFP Officer, Road Warrior, and Thunderdome Champion, stands on a ridge overlooking the wasteland, but his mind is cluttered with the voices of ghosts from his past. He turns his head as a new sound rises in the distance and it’s time to leave, Max throws his supplies into his rebuilt Interceptor and speeds away.
